My largest complaint would be the thin walls and floors, which of course comes from a historical landmark restoration. It's only been two weeks since my wife and I moved in but we've been pretty pleased so far. There was a misunderstanding regarding the kitchen layout of the apartment we moved into the and staff was very accommodating in getting us transferred to a new unit within days. The complex seems very safe given the constant activity (esp. if you're near the dogpark) and the 24/7 security patrol. That said- everyone in the complex seems respectful and it doesn't get too noisy either.
Yet, this is just one problem that would be considered more miniscule. The parking spaces surrounding the area are so impacted with cars, including many that are occupied by those living in their vehicles. Likewise, I should be able to throw my trash away without being scared because a homeless man is sleeping in the recycling bin. For paying so much a month, you would think you would have the security that other apartments offer. In November of that year, the LPTA lost its suit against the City; and in January the preservationists lost their case in trial court. The manager is on-site and easily reached for any problems or questions. I’ve been living in Lincoln place for almost two years now and absolutely love it.
